Surfshark punches well above its price point. At $2.49/month on the 2-year plan with unlimited simultaneous connections, it's an incredible deal for families or anyone with multiple devices.
Speeds are solid but not quite at NordVPN's level. On nearby servers, we saw 420 Mbps average, dropping to around 280 Mbps on intercontinental connections. Still more than enough for 4K streaming and gaming.
The CleanWeb feature (ad/tracker/malware blocker) works well and is included in the base price. Camouflage mode disguises your VPN traffic as regular HTTPS traffic — useful in countries with VPN restrictions.
Streaming support is good but not perfect. It reliably unblocks Netflix US, Disney+, and Amazon Prime, but was inconsistent with BBC iPlayer during our testing period. Surfshark does actively work to maintain these unblocks.
